The BaoFeng BF-F8+ is legal for use on amateur radio frequencies. The BF-F8+ can transmit in both narrowband (12.5 kHz) and wideband (25 kHz).
Dual clock receiver
The BaoFeng BF-F8+ has one built-in receiver, but can "see" two channels (half-duplex). Monitor two different frequencies (even in different bands (VHF / UHF)) and the radio will monitor both frequencies, giving priority to the station that receives an incoming call first.
FM stations
You can listen to FM broadcasts while monitoring your radio frequencies in the background. Each incoming call is given priority, so you'll never miss an important call while listening to the radio.
Supported group ringtones
The BaoFeng BF-F8+ is compatible with the most popular analog tones. It supports CTCSS, DCS and DTMF calling methods. Configure your calling methods to call with group tones. Most repeater applications require tone (private line) calling, and the BF-F8+ is compatible with the latest standards.
The BaoFeng BF-F8+ can even send DTMF tones. This allows you to send ANI (caller ID) commands or remote commands that require DTMF tones.
Internal VOX function
The BaoFeng BF-F8+ has an internal VOX (voice transmission) function for convenient hands-free operation and can be used with the included headset and microphone. The VOX level and VOX delay time are adjustable according to your needs.

You can program your BaoFeng BF-F8+ exactly the way you want it. There are 128 programmable memory channels. You can add or remove channels from the channel list using the free software. You can give alphanumeric names to the channels using a computer. The radio has two power levels (maximum 5 watts) so you can decide how much you can communicate. You can set the VFO limits using the CHIRP software. You can easily program through a PC to configure the radio to work exactly the way you want.
